Bumble Bee

Busy busy week and a half..

Speaking of bumble bee, you know I fell asleep the first time I watched Transformers? And I am always given funny looks whenever I mention this because everyone thinks its this super awesome movie. How can you fall asleep??/It is so good/Aiyo best movie that year/I've watched it like ten times/Megan Fox is damn hot. Fine! So I watched it again that day, and heeeeee....its actually nice:):)

Oh and I agree with Izzie, can't wait for Confessions of A Shopaholic and He's Just Not That Into You.

I feel sorry for the people of Melbourne who are currently suffering from the heatwave. 43 degrees celsius??!?! That's like 10 degrees hotter than penang, and its already damn hot here this CNY. I hope melbourne cools down alot before we go back.

Why am I eating so much this chinese new year? Every meal is like extra yummy, seeing as I spent CNY at grandma's house and in hong kong. As if the main chinese meals are not enough, there are the snacks. My aunt makes the most scrumptious cornflake cookies ever. They are super amazing because they don't taste like any other cornflake cookie, and mind you I've tasted many kinds since they're my favourite cookies. Anyways, my point is, snacks are dangerously everywhere this cny. Cornflake cookies, groundnuts, kueh ka pek, savouries, cakes, pineapple tarts are just some of what I've been bingeing on. I am officially weighingscaleaphobic.

Fun Fact: Michele's favourite cookies (I love talking about food you see) are oatmeal raisin cookies, Famous Amos' choc chip/double choc chip, cornflake cookies, Mrs Field's bite-size chewy cookies.

Sorry this post is all over the place:) I have alot on my mind now. Oh congrats Nadal on your first Australian Open title. I was rooting for Federer, but oh well.

To end this, let me present to you my can-die cute cousin. He is adorably adorable:):) He's 15 months and loves to smile. I would marry him if it weren't so weird.

Awww look at him.

There's actually something to lose from all this.

Chocolates, Candies and All Things Yummy

Feeling happy happy.....its the cleansing and good surrounding.

You know how sometimes you see something and you are just SO determined to have it and no one can stop you no matter what? Well this time, I've set my eyes on this super super super super super super pretty dress that proves the existence of love at first sight. I was out with Sher Lyn and Eevon one day and we were walking talking walking talking when I spotted a manequin adorned in that 1920s-esque mini dress at the shop window. Abandoned friends, walked in, ignored approaching salesgirl, took dress, tried it on. Wheeee:) Now let's hope mum will give me the money to buy it. That's not even the bad part. You see, the dress comes in four colours..............and i like all four:):):):)

ZOH ZOH blast from the past:) I bumped into Cynthia working at starbucks that day. Still so sweet, still so skinny, still so loud. We were classmates/schoolmates from standard six til form 3, and we used to do young funny unimaginable things. Haha aww I miss her:) Imagine working at starbucks and getting a free employee's drink every day. I think I would explode in fats.

Off to the tennis court. *toodles*

My pregnant brother! Spot my ever-present lip balm :)

Tangled up in you.

Because I Feel Like Being Nice

I am here to talk about how nice my brother can be. (I know right, this chinese new year heat is really getting to me)

Michele is in the kitchen standing beside all the cups.
Michele's little brother walks into the kitchen and wants some juice.

So he says: "Can you pass me a cup?"

"No." (even though she is standing right next to the cups)

"What??! Why you like that oneeee? *grunts*"

(Michele ignores her brother, then says) "Eh I want some juice also. Pour for me please."

"No way! You won't even pass me the cup! Why should I..(blah blah)..Why would I..(blah blah)..I won't..(blah blah)..."

Minutes later, my brother walks into my room and hands me the cup of juice that I asked for.

Heeeeee:)

So nice right?

I taught him well. *gloats*

Anyhoos, moving on.

Caitlin, your phone bill is probably going to explode. Melbourne or not, our girltalk sessions seem to last for hours. And Melbourne or not, I seem to always turn your sleeping hours upside down. Haha what to do, there was alot of ground to cover. Sorry if i polluted your mind, but eh, you needed to be informed okay. Love you even though we're not together *inside joke*

PS. Shennie, Yee Hooi, Carmen, Caitlin, Shereen: I miss girltalk and girltime!

Last but not least,

Get well soon!
This prolonged sickness is not something you want to copy from me:)
Me too. Definitely.

Sometimes all you need is someone to put things into perspective.

Back

Back to movable shower heads rather than stationary, low-pressured ones.
Back to sitting in cars rather than in trams.
Back to RM3.50 noodles, not $10.00 ones.
Back to a queen-sized bed, not a single.
Back to having my laundry and dishes done for me.
Back to a high-powered hair dryer rather than a small portable one.
Back to the voices of hokkien dialogue instead of aussie accents.
Back to using Wifi for internet connection.
Back to a walk-in wardrobe and full-length mirrors.
Back to the sounds of parental nagging, lecturing and pestering.
Back to a brother who annoys me yet i wouldn't have it any other way.
Back to the tennis court.
Back to roti canai for breakfast instead of cereal.
Back to a bedroom with pink wallpaper, not painted in boring beige.
Back to Astro and all of its million and one channels.
Back to people who've watched me grow up, whom i've known for a long time.

These are the things i've grown to miss while away.

But I miss Melbourne. But i'm Home:)

Home Is Where We Belong

A non-coherent post. Just chucking in whatever comes to mind.

Penang is home.
Melbourne is home.
Am i going home? Or leaving home?
I need to do well...12 DECEMBER!!!
Oh no...I might not have my happily ever after.
Its over, maybe?
Why so short-lived?
I'm fat. Doesn't matter what other people say.
Horrible feeling about this...
Packing...packing.
I don't do well with distance.
How?
