Walkabout

You know what? I just spent 300 ringgit on an ENT consultation, with a final diagnosis that the migrain, fever and imbalanced ear pressure i've been feeling for the past few days is due to...an airway obstruction. Wow. I don't even know what that means. Grey's Anatomy, help please.

Anyhoos, i went to my neighbour's wedding yesterday and zomg i totally loved how detailed the ballroom decorations were. Damn pretty and inspiring and makes you want to be a wedding planner so you can be surrounded by stuff like this everyday. Roses everywhere. And people who know me know i love flowers:):) I was so bored at the wedding though, just talk talk smile smile nod nod at people. I was dragged there against my will by my mum you see. And hah, the guy sitting next to me at the wedding, whom I've never met before this, totally put things into perspective by telling my mum "Wow, your daughter's back home for a holiday and you drag her to boring functions like this?" Well said, unknown stranger!

But you know, weddings are one of those things (along with romance novels and Valentine's Day and sappy love movies) that really make you believe in fantasies, in unconditional love, in happily-ever-afters. The thing is, I really do believe in those things. I fall for all of it. That is why the wedding made me teary-eyed. Listening to the groom's speech, proclaiming his love for his newlywedded wife, and how he so lovingly thanked her for willing to spend the rest of her life with him...it makes you believe that its all possible and that it can happen to you too. You know? Sappy sappy.

On another note:

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MAK EEVON!

Sorry its so late, i just realised i didn't make you a birthday post.

So excited for what? Its just arranging hamburgers and flowers on a virtual screen. Haha.

(On another-nother note)

OH OH so i went hiking today. And girl-talked with Sher on the way up. This is news coming from me, seeing as i don't hike. Ever. The last time was probably....a year and a half ago. Well these days I am motivated by my fats you see. And considering Michele's lousy stamina, it is an achievement that she made it.......to Number 5! Yay me:):) For non-Penangites, sorry I don't know how to explain what is Number 5:/ Its like a level.

I love pictures filled with the colour green.

Oh oh I can spot my house from this lookout point.

Imagine if I jumped down from here.. *erases suicidal thought*

(On another-nother-nother note)

Congrats Sher! Once again:):):):)

You are awesome!
Just like me:)

Sometimes your past knocks on your door...and throws rocks at your window.
