We are who we are
It's exam time again! First paper is next Wednesday - Corporate Law. It's been a looooong semester, very fulfilling, but definitely full of tough love. A lot of metaphorical cleansing of the things I now deem unnecessary.
Nothing stops me. You know why?
Cause I'm flyyyy like a G6 ......*birds chirp*......... *exam stress apparent*
(The picture above is a shot of uptown New York, taken from my cam in panoramic mode :) gorgeous view)

Fool's Gold
Love you mum:) she's been here for a month now, and is leaving tomorrow :(
Anyhoos, here's a little anecdote from Sex and the City season 1's episode "The Turtle and The Hare":
It's always better to marry someone who loves you more than you love them.
Food for thought? What do you think? Personally, I wish it were easier to feel like you can settle, say yes to the one who's already there. I mean, all the ingredients have been mixed together, you just gotta pick that bowl and say Yes, I choose you. But more often than not, we like the unattainable, the one on the white horse, constantly falling for the thrill of chasing what may just be... fool's gold.

Just like a dream, you are not what you seem
BIRTHDAY POST!
This year, my 20th birthday, was one heck of a day. It was a Friday, so I still had lectures and dance rehearsals going on, and within all that, I managed to slot in a party. The night before, my friend's broke the conventional and decided to surprise me in the toilet. Hah. After dance rehearsal, Sha was all "Omg I really need to pee can we pleasee go to the Architecture building's toilet. Come with me please, I'm scared :( "
Haha awww thanks guys :) Apparently the surprise was suppose to happen when Sha and I came out of the toilet but uhh the candles were burning out?? Doesn't matter, I love you guys to bits, my melb fam.

So on Friday night, after a crazy day of beautiful texts, thoughtful wishes, a call from Darren all the way from home (aww D), lectures, rehearsals, running around getting my hair done, buying lipstick, balloons and all that jazz, I finally made it to the party (late! haha) at The Carron.
Sidenote: I will never plan a party again anytime soon. Planning's a bitch, especially when the function manager is one too.
The theme for the party was Glam Rock, so that means... Wee Lim and Ryan wore eyeliner. Haha. And WL painted his nails too.

There are many things i'd like to say to you but I don't know how
Strange but I like it, there's something about..

Free-falling
Am staying in Melbourne this winter break. I miss home sooo much, but its okay it had to happen someday right ;) Staying here I mean. Nonetheless, I am so so so so so so so so so so so so happy that the holidays are here. Finally, that constant nag in my head that says 'you have something to do after this, so hurry up' is GONE :D GONEEEEE. Life's good B-)

The things time take away
I dreamed a dream in time gone by..

"
When hope was high
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted
But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
And they turn your dream to shame
"
I seriously love the Glee songs this second half of its season, absolute faves so far are Poker Face, Like A Prayer, Hello and more than others the cover of I Dreamed A Dream from the play Les Miserables.

And still I dream he'll come to me
That we will live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather

So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed.
