Snippets of My Fortnight

I am effin exhausted! Zoh seriously, packed holidays are not for me. I'm more of a do whatever i want when i want it kind of holiday person. I like to relax when i'm holiday-ing. What's the point of a vacation when you're rushing more than you do in your daily life. Not to mention Korean Air sucks. 17 hours of flight in two days might not have been such a pain if a number of things were different, which i shall refrain from listing them out because i do not want to be mean to the airline and the people and the place.

Ok now that i am done ranting, I will turn myself into a cheerful person, because really, my trip was awesome!:):):) Mostly because of Hawaii. Korea was good too, especially the food, but because I've been there before and am not really that into the country, Hawaii was more oooh-aaah for me.

Because I am not a very hardworking blogger, I will put up exactly 10 pictures of my trip. Hehe.

Though i ate korean food for 3 meals a day for 6 days, i didn't die of boredom because i loved it:) korean food is awesome. kimchi grows on me.

Happy candid shot taken by Dad. Korean people sleep on floors. I don't enjoy it.

Skiing with the family. My brother and I took up snowboarding this trip but I didn't really like it. I returned to skiing shortly after:) My brother really liked boarding though, and he was really good at it.

We went on the trip with a bunch of friends. All 27 of us I think.

After six days, we flew across the Pacific to the island of O'ahu, Hawaii. In true Hawaiian fashion, Michele is wearing flowers and sipping her drink out of a pineapple at a hawaiian luau:):)

Pearl Harbour:)

Dinner on Christmas Eve. So our tourguide said that its some kind of Hawaiian tradition for women to wear a flower i their hair instead of rings to symbolise their status. Wearing it on the right side means that she is available whereas left means unavailable. Whatever, i would have worn it on the left side anyway, because my fringe is on the left. Haha that makes more sense right right:)

Waikiki Beach is beauuuutiful. I have so many pretty pictures of it which I may put it up someday, depending on my happiness. Haha. Oh oh and i dipped my legs into the pacific ocean. Yay me:):)

This is the Pali Lookout. It had the strongest wind i have ever felt in my whole entire life. If you were anorexically skinny you would probably blow away.

A Hawaiian Christmas card of the Lim family:)

Toodles!
